Every one of Connecticut's 8 counties, hand-lettered one by one into the shape of the Constitution State.

Each PlaceMaps print starts as a hand-built Illustrator file: every name is rotated, stretched and fitted letter by letter until the words become the map. Look closely and you'll find Hartford, New Haven, Fairfield and every other county.
