Typographic map of South Dakota with all 66 counties spelled out in hand-fitted letters

South Dakota County Map Print

$38.00

Every one of South Dakota's 66 counties, hand-lettered one by one into the shape of the Mount Rushmore State.

Each PlaceMaps print starts as a hand-built Illustrator file: every name is rotated, stretched and fitted letter by letter until the words become the map. Look closely and you'll find Minnehaha, Pennington, Custer and every other county.
