Every one of Texas's 254 counties, hand-lettered one by one into the shape of the Lone Star State.

Each PlaceMaps print starts as a hand-built Illustrator file: every name is rotated, stretched and fitted letter by letter until the words become the map. Look closely and you'll find Harris, Dallas, Travis and every other county.
