The 22 historic regions of France, from Bretagne and Normandie to Provence and Alsace, hand-lettered into the shape of l'Hexagone.

Each PlaceMaps print starts as a hand-built Illustrator file: every name is rotated, stretched and fitted letter by letter until the words become the map. Look closely and you'll find Bretagne, Provence, Normandie and many more.
